Check the regulations for restrictions and limits. A good close up photo of Lower Mesa Falls would be great too.įishing: Fishing in Henry's Fork and other nearby streams can be quite good for trout and whitefish. I would imagine the fishing in the hard to reach spots would be outstanding. Recreation: While camping here, I would spent some time hiking down to and along the river. Picnic Area: There is a small picnic area at the overlook parking area. Pets: Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash. Handicap Accessible: The outhouse is handicap accessible.įirewood: Firewood may be purchased from the host for $6 per bundle. Restroom: Grandview has one vault style outhouse which like most in this area was clean and well stocked. Please use it as these woods are home to both black and grizzly bear.Įlectricity Available: Yes, each site has power. Garbage Services: There is a bear resistant dumpster.

Water: There is water available from a pressurized system and it was cool and clear. Host on Site: "Richard" was the host for 2012 and he was very proud of Grandview Campground. The road, driveways and sites are gravel. The campground is fairly level and is covered by a mature forest with heavy undergrowth.Ĭampsites: There are 8 campsites, each have a picnic table, fire pit with attach grate and a camp stove table. The campground is situated on the east side of a deep canyon and overlooks Lower Mesa Falls (85ft). We saw no sign with the campground name on it and found it more by chance than from signs. Grandview Campground can be found at the "overlook" for Lower Mesa Falls.
